Scrappy Saturday

Welcome to another Scrappy Saturday.
This layout was inspired by a sketch challenge at
the Paper Issues online crop.
They hosted a fun online crop last weekend.
I used  mix of retired and current Fundamentals.
I also added current and retired Complements.
It was a fun sketch to play with.
Today I am attending the
Close To My Heart Spring Launch event in Detroit.
DH was sweet enough to drive me and hang out while I am at the training.
I get to help out with some duties and I will get a copy of the new
Seasonal Expressions.
Exciting!
Have a great weekend.

Back with another Stamp of the Month
card.
This one is my favorite.
I used the linen look paper from
Hello Lovely.
The hearts are from another stamp set and the spills and splatters too.
The other images are from the  great set

Here For You + Watercolors

As I was playing with the Here For You
stamp set I thought I would have to try a watercolor background.
This one is a little busy but I think I like the result.
I just swished a watercolor background in yellow, orange and dark pink.
I let it dry and stamped over it.
It's fun to layer those flowers.

This time I used papers from
Some Kinda Wonderful.
Love the Tangerine and Blossom pink combo.
Here's another.
I am happy to have these "words of encouragement" cards on hand.

Happy hump day!

Here For You Variations

Here's a variation of the card I shared yesterday from the
For this card I created a larger sentiment panel and added some
Tangerine Ink in the floral mix.
Isn't it a gorgeous color for Spring and moving into Summer?

And here is a little softer color palette accented with Sapphire leaves.
You know me and my flower stamps, I never tire of creating floral images.
I'll have yet another combo for you tomorrow.
So, ya'll come back now, please!

Here For You

Hello lovelies!
This week I will start out sharing cards created with the
Workshop Your Way (WYW) Cardmaking Kit.
This kit contains all you need
(just add ink and adhesive)
to create 12 beautiful cards.
The two cards above are from project 2.
Same design and papers, you just flip the pattern over to the opposite side for a slightly different look.
Now here is the look for project 1.
The fun thing about these kits is that you get the stamp set too.
You download the directions from my website and you are good to go!
I have chosen to host a Celebrate! Card Club this quarter using 3 of the 4 kits shown in the Seasonal Expressions.
It's fun because I pre-cut all their papers and teach them a technique or two along the way.
The cuties leave with 12 completed cards in under 2 hours.
It's hard to believe we only have one more kit to go and then we will have completed 36 lovely cards!

Here's a look at what you get in the kit.

Scrappy Saturday

Well, I am back on schedule to share a scrappy Saturday post.
I don't know about you but I can create a bunch of cards in no time but it takes me forever to finish a layout.
Well, the sketch at Sketches in Thyme inspired me to scrap this photo from our
girls' getaway weekend.
We went to an adorable coffee/sandwhich shop called the Friendly Fox and it was wonderful.
We thought it was pretty fun that JoAnna's coffee mug matched her outfit.
Did you notice I was even able to add an stamped image from the
Stamp of the Month
Have a terrific weekend!
