Welcome to the Rose Blossom team blog hop.
If you are coming from Shelly's blog,
you are on the right track.
If you are starting here, just hop along from blog to blog for inspiration.
We are all featuring collections from the new Seasonal Expressions.
I chose the lovely Gimme Some Sugar collection.
I love the color palette and the gingham and floral prints.
I created a couple of cards using this set.

These colors just make me think of Spring and I so enjoyed working with them.
Now, please head over to Shauna's blog
to see what lovely creations she has to share.
Thanks for joining the Rose Blossoms blog hop!

Scrappy Saturday

Welcome to Scrappy Saturday.
I signed up for  year two, SCT365 online class,
where you get an assignment each month that includes a layout and card sketch.
Here's my layout for January, wow, and it isn't even the middle of the month yet.
I really like the background of using the blocks of solid cardstock in this sketch.
The colors I used are Glacier and Charcoal.
The example had a stitched grid where you see my stamped paint splatters.
I just was not in the mood to get my sewing machine revved up so opted to stamp.
I do not usually cut up my 4 x 6 photos but I have to admit I love the close ups of
my daughter and her special guy.  I was so proud of JoAnna at this event she helped plan and execute to raise funds for their mural project.
What a wonderful night to relive, and that's why I scrapbook!
Have a good weekend.
After being grounded with the weather, we are venturing out of town for some shopping and to see The Post.

Scrappy Saturday

For the first Scrappy Saturday of the year,
I am sharing the last layout I made in 2017.
Last year I took the
Scrapbook and Cards Today SCT365 online class and I am proud to say
that I completed a layout using each monthly assignment.
This one was inspired by the December sketch.
I got it done with a few hours to spare, scrapping on New Year's Eve, lol.
I signed up for the class again this year.
I found so much inspiration from the various teachers and I will say that the layouts I made for the class, last year, are some of my faves.
For this layout I used retired papers from the original Fundamentals.
They are just such great basics
I used the newest CTMH Cricut cartridge for the title and subtitle
Flowers and leaves are from FLOWER MARKET.
I have to give photo credit to my sister, who is a very talented photographer.
I think DD and her cousin hung out in this tent a couple summers ago.
PSA, date your photos so you can remember!
Fun times.
I look forward to the new inspiration from this class this year as well.
Have a great weekend.
